Terms of Service
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Holy Studies ("we", "us") and cover your use of the Holy Studies website and its Study Arcade tools. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Who can use Holy Studies
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You're responsible for keeping your login private and for what happens under your account, and the information you give us must be accurate.
2. What we provide
Holy Studies turns class slides into study materials, including test forecasts, flashcards, quizzes and sort games. You can also write your own lessons. Teachers can create classes, assign work, see student progress and run live games. We may change, add or remove features as the site develops.
3. AI-generated content can be wrong
Lessons built from slides are written by artificial intelligence and then checked by a second AI step. They can still contain mistakes, and test forecasts are only estimates of what may appear on a test, not a promise. Check anything important against your course materials. Holy Studies isn't connected with your school or instructor unless they tell you otherwise, and you're responsible for following your school's academic integrity rules.
4. Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in the slides and other material you upload or write ("your content"). You give us permission to store, copy, process and display your content as needed to run the site for you and for anyone you share it with, such as your class. This includes sending slide text to our AI provider, as described in our Privacy Policy. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain in backups for a limited time.
You may only upload material you have the right to use for studying or teaching. Don't upload anyone's private information, including student records or grades. If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email us at innovatewithteganp@gmail.com with the details.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- break the law or violate anyone's rights;
- upload harmful, hateful, sexually explicit or harassing material, or malware;
- get around plan limits, beta rules or security protections, including by creating extra accounts for more free lessons;
- access another person's account or class without permission;
- scrape, overload or interfere with the site, or resell it without our written permission.
6. Teachers and classes
If you run a class, you're responsible for how you use the site with your students, including any approval your school requires and any student privacy rules that apply to you. Review AI-built lessons before you publish them. Students in your class can study your published lessons, and you can see their names, progress and results.
7. Plans, payments and cancellation
- Free use. Members without a plan can build one lesson for free, once, and can make their own lessons. Current plans and limits are listed on the Plans page.
- Payments. Paid plans are sold through Wix's checkout. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the listed price until you cancel. A Semester Pass is one payment for four months and doesn't renew.
- Cancellation. You can cancel a monthly or yearly plan at any time on your account page. It stops renewing and stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Teacher Free ends as soon as you cancel it. If you can't cancel there, email innovatewithteganp@gmail.com.
- Refunds. Payments aren't refundable except where the law requires it.
- Limits. A build that fails on our side doesn't count toward your limit. Unused builds don't roll over. We'll give notice before a price change affects your plan.
- Beta access. Beta codes work once, are for the person they were given to, and can expire or be withdrawn. Beta features may change or end.
8. Our site
We own the Holy Studies site, its design, software and branding. You may use them only as these terms allow. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
9. Suspending or ending your account
You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or where the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those limiting our liability, stay in effect afterward.
10. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that its content will be accurate, or that it will improve your grades.
11. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost grades, data, profits or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site won't exceed the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't remove any consumer rights you have where you live that can't be waived.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give reasonable notice on the site or by email. If you keep using the site after changes take effect, you accept them.
